Program history: For the Birds was first broadcast on KUMD on Monday, May 12, 1986. It was picked up in 1987 by KAXE, WOJB, and WXPR, and a year or two later by KVSC. More recently it's been picked up by KSRQ in Thief River Falls, MN, and WRFA-LP in Jamestown, NY.
